Postcards printed on 18pt coated card stock are ideal for anyone who prefers a heftier postcard with fast production times. These 18 point postcards print in standard 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" and a selection of standard sizes.
Your postcards are printed in full color on an HP indigo press to achieve magnificent photographic reproduction with vivid, rich and consistent color on multiple postcard orders and future reorders.

Custom Size Cards are available on this option: please select the next largest postcard size listed that will fit your trim size. The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if black, use 100% K.
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Don't use rich black on Indigo printing. 100% K will be just fine.
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. This can be an issue for corner rounding so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Coated cards aren't ideal for writing on. If this is a big deal, check out our uncoated card stock options.
CMYK Process colors in the grey range and de-saturated images can shift in color throughout the print run and may cause the greys to appear either cooler or warmer. For a neutral grey, we recommend converting all grey values and de-saturated images to true greyscale consisting of K (black) only values.
Depending on the color value, you may experience color variation in solid fills of blue. For great blue results, we recommend a 30% difference between your Cyan and Magenta levels to ensure a nice rich dark blue, rather than purple.
Orders with proofs will not begin print production until the proof is approved. If you are ordering rush printing and printed proofs the proof printing cannot be rushed.
PDF Layout Proofs: PDF layout proofs will be sent within 1 business day, rush orders will be given priority and sent asap during business hours. If file adjustments are required after the proof is sent the turnaround time is based on the time of final proof approval.
Printed Proofs | Mailed Proofs: Printed proofs require up to 4 business days to produce and cannot be rushed. If file adjustments are required after the proof is sent the turnaround time is based on the time of final proof approval.
Bleeds: all files must have a 1/8" bleed on each side
Live Area: keep all critical text and artwork 1/8" inside the trim
Colors: supply your files in CMYK color (Pantone/RGB colors will be converted or rejected)
Resolution: 300 dpi minimum (400 dpi preferred)
Fonts: fonts must converted to curves/outlines (we do not accept fonts).
Transparencies: flatten all transparencies
